Green Pines Baptist Church is a "Greenhouse for the Great Commission." The goal of a greenhouse is to create the right climate so plants can thrive and propagate. Knowing we can't make people grow, we strive to make a climate for spiritual growth. This growth is geared toward the spreading of our faith across the nations. GPBC strives to carry out God's vision for our church through local and international mission projects.

GPBC goal is to expose the local community to the Gospel through encouraging words and acts of kindness. We want to reach out to our church's neighbors with God's love with the hope that they will want to experience the saving love of our Lord for themselves.

Local projects include Meals on Wheels, a food pantry, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, family mission trips, and small group community outreach projects. The church is also a supporter of the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering initiative which supports North American mission efforts.

GPBC is active in the international mission field and regularly schedules trips to Belarus, East Asia, Haiti, South Asia, and India. The church is also a supporter of the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering initiative which supports international mission efforts.
